Today marks the highly anticipated return of the Paris Motor Show. Also known as Mondial de l'Auto, running from October 14th to October 20th, 2024. This year’s event, is the 90th edition of the historic show. It promises to be a hub for innovation, technology, and engineering in the automotive world. Over its 126-year history, the Paris Motor Show has unveiled some of the most iconic vehicles. With 2024 looks set to continue that tradition.
The show will take place across six halls, both indoors and outdoors, with exhibitors showcasing their latest advancements through demonstrations, meet-and-greets, and various displays. Industry giants such as Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, and Ford will be participating, with much excitement building around Renault's unveiling of the Renault 4.
Key Exhibits: Electric and Hydrogen-Powered Marvels
While many of the cars remain a surprise until the show, some standout vehicles have already been confirmed. Among them is Alpine’s hydrogen combustion supercar, the Alpine Alpenglow Hy6, which was first revealed in 2022. This year, it returns with a newly developed hydrogen engine, having competed at Le Mans with a 2.0-litre engine. Alpine will also present the much-anticipated A390, a fully electric sports car set for a 2025 release. With a beta version debuting at this year’s show.
Renault is also generating buzz with its retro-inspired Renault 17 Electric Restomod. A modern twist on a classic design, this electric concept car is not set for production but is sure to draw plenty of attention from enthusiasts.

The 2024 Paris Motor Show will also feature debuts from several Chinese car brands, including BYD. Highlighting, the growing influence of Chinese automakers on the global stage. With a rich history of world premieres like the Ford Model T in 1908 and the Ferrari 250 Europa in 1953.
